Vice President, Business Development Quality & Flight Safety
Since June 2009, Amir Rakha has served as Vice-President, Business Development, Quality & Flight Safety, for Navtech, Inc.
Amir has more than 20 years of experience as an information technology professional. Before joining Navtech, Amir was Vice President of Business Development for Aha! Software, a leading provider of closed-loop collaborative analytics. Amir's previous experience includes a role as the Vice President of Operations for Antenova Ltd, a supplier of high-performance antenna solutions for telecommunications applications. In this role Amir had overall responsibility for the design, engineering, and manufacture of all of Antenova's products, and led Antenova's transition from a research and development start-up firm to an established product delivery organization.
Prior to joining Antenova, Amir was Business Development Manager for IBM Software Group, and Director of Transportation Technologies for Siemens. Amir has also held leadership positions for Covia Technologies/Galileo International, where he was the director responsible for the production, marketing, and sale of transportation-based software applications, and led an international team of more than 50 engineers and developers in creating the Kansai International Airport passenger information system.
Amir holds a Bachelor of Science in Computers from Iowa State University.
