Vice President, Strategic Accounts
From April 2009 until January 2013 Declan Boland has served as Vice President, Global Sales for Navtech. Effective January 2013 Mr. Boland is embracing a new Executive role at Navtech as Vice President of Strategic Accounts. He will continue to be a strong presence representing Navtech.
Mr. Boland has spent nearly 20 years in the travel and technology industries. In positions in Boston, Dublin, New York and Saudi Arabia, Mr. Boland sold and managed multi-million dollar contracts for industry-leading companies and built partnership relationships with such firms as Oracle, Microsoft and SAS.
He came to Navtech from Satyam Computer Services, where he was Vice President, Sales, responsible for managing the sales pipeline for the company's systems integration and outsourcing business. In prior experience, he held key sales roles in the travel and transportation industries with Unisys Corporation, IBM Global Services, and Travelport (Galileo). He also led a private executive consultancy specializing in project management and marketing strategy for numerous travel and transportation industry clients.
Mr. Boland holds a bachelor's degree in Nature Science and a master's degree in Behavioral Science from Trinity College in Dublin. He has continuously expanded his expertise, completing Management training in consulting, technology, professional development and sales management.
