1.    SCOPE – This statement applies to Navtech Web Sites Worldwide.
2.    CHANGES TO THE POLICY - We reserve the right to change the provisions of this privacy policy at any time by posting the revised Policy on the Sites and indicating on the Policy the date it was last updated.  We encourage you to review this Policy whenever you visit our Sites to determine if any changes have been made and to make sure that you understand how personal information you provide will be treated.
3.    PERSONAL INFORMATION - Personal information is information that specifically identifies an individual or that is associated with an identifiable individual. Publicly available information — such as a public directory listing of your name, address, telephone number, email or other electronic address — is not considered to be personal information.
4.    COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION - There are several ways that Navtech may gather personal information:
Information you give us: At Navtech’s request or on your own, you may complete a form (electronic or other formats) that includes personal information. Examples of these forms include a registration form for an event, a feedback survey or a subscription to an electronic newsletter. Please note that electronic forms may not be encrypted.
Information that is collected automatically: Navtech may automatically collect certain personal information when you interact with our web sites in a web browser. For example, log files record basic/system information, and we may collect specific information using "cookies". There are tools available that will allow you to visit web sites anonymously; however, we take care to use cookies only for specific functions and without them, you may not be able to receive all of our services or to request specific information or feedback from us.
Sample automatic information includes: The Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, login information, email addresses, passwords, computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system and platform, the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through, and from one of our web sites, including date and time, or cookie number.
Email: For some requests from you or from direct or indirect communications from Navtech, we contact you through email. To ensure that we are providing appropriate service, we sometimes receive confirmation when you open an email.
Information from other sources: In your interactions with other service providers and web sites, you may authorize third parties to collect your personal information and share it with Navtech. In these situations, we update our records to improve our communications with you.
5.    USE OF COOKIES - Cookies are unique identifiers or tokens of agreement from a web server that are saved in a small text file on your computer when you access a Navtech web site through a browser. We can use this information to track visits to web pages (which ones, how many times) or to personalize web page content. Most major web sites use cookies and most browsers are set up to accept them. If you wish, you can reset your browser to refuse to accept cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being sent-see "Help" in your browser. You do not need cookies to visit our web sites. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some of the features on the web sites.
6.    USAGE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION - In general, we use personal information we collect to facilitate your use of the Sites, to provide you with information, products and services you request, to inform you about other information, events, promotions, products or services we think will be of interest to you, to administer and assist us with the operation of the Sites and of our business, and for the purpose for which the information was provided.
7.    SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION - If we collect any personal information, we share and disclose such personal information only as described in this Policy (as amended from time to time).  We may share personal information with third party vendors, consultants and other service providers who are engaged by or working with us in connection with the operation of the Sites or performing any services on our behalf.  For example, we may use a third party to screen certain content before it is posted to the Sites.  In addition, we may offer various features through a third party service provider.  When you use these services, you are providing information directly to the provider of these services, and the provision of such information is subject to such party’s own privacy policy. We are not responsible for any information you provide to these parties directly, and we encourage you to become familiar with their practices before disclosing information directly to such third parties with which you come into contact. We also may disclose personal information when we are required to or we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law (e.g., a lawful subpoena, warrant or court order); to enforce or apply this privacy policy or our other policies or agreements; to initiate, render, bill, and collect for amounts owed to us; to protect our or our customers' rights, property or safety; to protect our customers from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of our Site; or if we believe that an emergency involving the danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of communications or justifies disclosure of personal information. In addition, information about our customers, including personal information, may be disclosed or transferred as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, as well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership in which personally identifiable information could be transferred to third parties as one of the business assets of the Company.
8.    PROTECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION – We strive to protect personal information while it is under our control.
